Walking the Dogs/Dog Inspirational iPhone Photos

I thought walking the dogs in the morning  would be a good way to gather inspirational photos  today. Well... walking with two dogs, trying to hold my iPhone, and carrying poop bags was a bit to challenging. I had to choose between Lync, the 100 lb German Shepherd or Minnie Driver the 15 lb Miniature Schnauzer. Poor Lync will have to wait for the evening walk.
I've decided to make folders to keep track of what I'm photographing. Food, Plants, Feet/Paws, and Shadows. I'm sure the folder list will grow when I start experiments with enhancement applications and Photoshop techniques.
Another goal for the summer is recording the process in my Journal/Sketchbook and finishing paintings that were started last fall. Paper work at school really took away from being creative this year, so glad its summer time.

iPhone Photography = Summer Fun

Last week I signed up for "SNAP SHOT Delight" an online class by Alisa Burke, which just happened to start on Friday, the last day of school for me. I couldn't wait to get home to check out the first week of inspiration!!  I uploaded all the applications she suggested and even ordered a few lenses for my iPhone. The next day when my husband,Chris and I went grocery shopping my iPhone was in hand. While Chris was doing the shopping, yours truly was busy photographing every display in the grocery store. When we got to the fish department I noticed how beautiful the fish were displayed, it was if they had styled them just for me! Of course we had to buy one. I may have looked crazy but have never had so much fun at the grocery store.
At home I careful unwrapped the fish, and took a few photos, which were later handed over to my husband and put on the grill.
Thanks to Chris we had a delicious dinner that night, and thank you
Alisa Burke, for creating Snap Shot Delight. My summer vacation is off to a wonderful start.

Creative, Flowers, Photography = Fun

My son, Luciano was asked to design the flowers for his first wedding. Our good friend, Amy, helped Luciano with the task. I provided the laughs and my husband Chris Maggio was in charge of  the photography. We worked into night and delivered the flowers today. I think the bride was happy. :)
Hope you enjoy my husbands very creative documentation of the process

Saturday Morning in the Garden

The perfect morning to start weeding my garden. Minnie Driver, my wild Miniature Schnauzer couldn't wait to start searching for butterfly's, frogs, and her favorite chase the chipmunks.
Today I plan on spending time with my sketchbook, capturing all the shapes, color and texture. I've been so busy with school the past couple of months, I feel like I've forgotten how to be creative.
