Sunday Sketches: Daily Vacation Sketches

Thursday I posted several watercolor drawings done in my sketchbook while was visiting my daughter in South Carolina.  I'm back home with lots of photographs taken during our trip and trying to sketch each  morning using my photo references.

  1. Loving your sketch book and being able through your beautiful watercolors to join you on your trip. They are both great, but I do love the top one... so inviting. I want to go there.

  6. Wonderful paintings, Karen. You have such a special and unique style and I love it. I know I've said it before but it's so true. Love the gentle, whispy and happy feelings found in your work.

  9. That house you watercolored in during your visit to South Carolina is so quaint. It would make a great print for notecards too. Blessings!
