View from Both Sides/Niagara Falls

A family photo on the American side of Niagara Falls.

Our accessories, a must have when you visit Cave under the falls.

I'm still loving my fish eye lenses.
Can you see the rainbow?
Niagara river just before it goes over the falls.

The Queen and King of the falls.

If you zoom in  and look closely at the bottom, you can see the entrance to the Cave of Winds.

My son, Luciano and husband, Chris, who by the way had a great time using his New "Go Pro" camera
.
The stylish woman in the photo above and this one are both views from the Canadian side.

Public Market/Jessie and Mark

The last day of adventures and sightseeing for my daughter and boyfriend was spent at The Rochester Public Market.

Jessie and Mark enjoying a much needed cup of coffee.

 Beautiful display of color.
I wanted all of these Succulents.

Loved how my named just fit within the oranges on the crate.
 Great texture

Not sure of the name for this lovely silver and gray plant, and couldn't resist the temptation to touch it.
It was as soft as cashmere.

Just a hint of Complementary color.

 Daisy's
Hot pepper delight

I must admit that presentation is everything when your at the Public Market.  We were always drawn to the vendors that spent the extra time displaying their produce.

Watkins Glen, iPhone, and a Fish Eye Lens

My daughter, Jessie and her boyfriend, Mark are visiting from South Carolina. We have spent the week introducing  Mark to our favorite places in Upstate New York. Yesterday was a trip to the Watkins Glen Gorge.  I thought this would be a great location to play with three lenses I purchased from Photojojo for my iPhone. I took over 50 photographs and asked my husband, the Professional Photographer to select and critique my work. These are his favorite pics from the day. My favorite lens was the Fisheye.
The picture of the weathered doors was taken when we decided to take the Indian Trail  back down  the Gorge.

White Dargon Fruit iPhone Enhancments

Yesterday I found this amazing looking fruit, called a "White Dragon." Today I spent a few hours playing with a new app "Mextures." It was so fun creating layers and experimenting with Textures and different formulas recommended by other artists. This final photo is the inside of the fruit. without enhancements. How cool is that! More to come, but just had to share some of my results.
