Last week was crazy! It was back to school meetings, and getting ready for students this week. My on-line bookmaking class began, and our son, Gian started his college journal out of state. (13 hour road trip).
Oh and our youngest son, Luciano celebrated a birthday.
I spent yesterday and today creating my first book. With everything going on the only thing I had time to purchase was the linen thread. Thank goodness I had all my recycle creations to use
for inspiration. I loved my book design so much I just had to create a cuff just like it.
Book jewelry...love it!
ReplyDeleteYour book is very pretty. Seems like you are really enjoying bookmaking.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Is a cuff a wrist-band? It looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the bookmaking, your course sounds like an interesting idea. The cover looks great by the way.
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteI religiously read your blogs. I'm currently in the process of setting up my own all because of you! I love your blog, creative journaling 101. Did you get the latest issue of journaling by Somerset Studio from the Barnes and Noble in Pitsford Plaza?? I would like a copy myself! My mom is coming to visit sometime this fall semester- she mentioned the four of us girls all getting together. Anyways, shoot me an email so we can figure something out. Talk to you soon, Cassondra.

Your book looks wonderful... and I hope you can get some rest amidst all the beg. of year craziness at school! Roxanne
ReplyDeleteLove your book, and I'm pretty partial to book-making myself. Love too that you made a cuff to match it!
