Jessie's Flea Market Find

Last Sunday, Jessie and I spent the morning at the Avon Flea market. We had so much fun looking for treasures. Jessie came home with some amazing finds. This lovely sliver water pitcher for five dollars was one of them. It was so charming we just had to turn it into a still life for me to paint. Monday we stopped by our favorite florist shop Arena's and selected a few flowers to fill the pitcher. We took some pictures for my reference and I started the drawing.

Its been a very busy week and I haven't had a chance to add the color yet but wanted to share our collaborative find and creative endeavors.
Jessie and I have joined Lemoncholys flight of fancy, "Flea Market Friday". Be sure to hop over and see what treasures other bloggers have found.

  4. did you do this straight to pen on paper or have a pencil drawing underneath? it is incredible! I love the BW ink drawing even better although the watercolour is gorgeous too and adds depth. both are amazing. you are crazy talented, if I may say so.
